COOP STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD

Eligibility
*Must be a Coop student of good academic standing.
*Must have successfully completed at least one coop work term
*Must be nominated by a Coop Employer
Selection Criteria
*Job Performance/Achievement
*Contribution to cooperative education
*Employer's statement
Coop employers initiate nomination which will be assessed by a committee.

*The 2009 Coop Student of the Year Award winner  was Carlos Xudiera, a CPA student nominated by SyncBASE Inc.

COOP MENTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Eligibility
*Must be a an employer who hired a Coop student from FIAT or FASET
*Must have hired a coop student for at least one work term
*Must be nominated by a Coop student
Selection Criteria
*Level of mentorship/leadership provided to student
*Commitment to Cooperative Education at Seneca College
*Student's statement
Coop students initiate nomination which will be assessed by a committee.

*The 2009 Coop Mentor of the Year Award winner was Philip Habib from Litens Automotive, nominated by Todd Harrison from the Computer Systems Technology Diploma program.
